WHere is a home-style version of a cocktail found on the seasonal cocktail list. It's a party-sized prepared mix that is packed full of essence of a Christmas time, rendering it excellent for hosting a festive gathering. Save the extra citrus syrup to use in breakfast cocktails, desserts, or to make more rounds of bikinis.

Serves 10 servings
For the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
To make the Premix (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, for garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
Making the Syrup: Put the listed ingredients into a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. Then, remove from the burner and let it to reach room temperature entirely. Decant into an sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the fridge, where it will keep for up to one month.
Preparing the Premix: Mix all the spirits and syrup in a sizeable container, leave to sit for 60 minutes, then pass it through , ideally through muslin, to ensure it's completely strained.
For serving: Add 85ml of your premix into a mixing glass containing ice, and stir gently for one minute to cool it down. Filter into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil above the glass.
